In the laser engraving/cutting industry we're lucky to have a variety of unique materials to work with.
Unfortunately, all those materials can take up valuable space in your shop, so we developed a simple shelf to hold roll items (laser foil, transfer material, etc.) to keep these items accessible, but still tidy.
For this project, we used a 60-watt Fusion with the following settings:
Cutting Settings: 6% speed, 100% power, 10 frequency
Note:Begin by inserting your MDF into the laser system and sending the vector job over with the correct settings for your system.

After everything is cut, use wood glue to assemble your shelf as shown in the photos below. This shelf can be mounted to your wall for out-of-the-way storage options. When mounted you'll notice the racks point slightly upward to prevent the rolls from sliding. Paint or stain your shelf for an added touch of creativity.
Here is the finished, assembled project. Attach it to a wall in your office, and you have a quick and easy rack to store your fabric rolls!
We'll send you a brochure, as well as engraved and cut samples created with the laser.
